In search of connection with nature, himself and others, Tom learned ceremonial way of serving tea in Tea Sage Hut in Taiwan, where during his multiple visits he has been diving into daily practice of tea and meditation.
Being an active member of the Global Tea Hut community Tom hosted several tea ceremonies publicly, privately and now virtually.
Tom says: "Tea has brought many lessons to me and has allowed my heart to express itself in the container of ceremonial space. I am deeply honoured to be of service to her and to provide this sacred space for others to meet her too."

Offerings
We will begin with some brief introductions and a welcoming into the space. We will enter silence and drink tea together for around 40 minutes. Afterwards we will have a check in and an opportunity to share on the experience.
During the tea ceremony there will be some music playing and there will also be some handmade Aloeswood incense to deepen the experience if the sensitivities of the guests allow for it. The focus of bowl tea ceremony is to receive from the heart, to give from the heart and to connect with nature.

A tea lounge will be offered on Friday and Saturday.. The tea tent will be open to come and go as you please. The intent is to provide a relaxed experience with tea in a casual setting while providing a chill out space away from the main stage. There will be some lofi hip hop / chill step music in the background. Tom will be serving boiled tea from a cauldron.

A talk through Tom's journey of tea. Heavily influenced by Wu De and Global Tea Hut.

In each of the tea settings, Tea Ceremony, Tea Lounge and the Tea Talk opportunity for Donation will be available. None of these events are paid for events.
The tea spaces provided are running on the donations received at previous events. In the same manner any donations received will open space for future events. In this way the Dharma of tea moves forward with no expectations.
By attending you receive a gift from those who came before you. If you find merit in the experience you are welcome to donate to future tea experiences for others. No donations are necessary. All are welcome.
