Sarah Findlay
Sarah Findlay
Wellness, Yoga & Movement
Sarah is a therapist who completed her Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Her trauma-informed approach to client care is collaborative and holistic, aiming to help people along their path of self-integration.

Sarah integrates Somatic therapeutic practices with talk therapy to help clients harmonize the body and mind through physical sensations which connect to the nervous system. Sarah combines these practices with Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) interventions, which explore our relational bonds and their influence on interpersonal relationships.
As a certified Yoga Therapist since 2013, Sarah respectfully blends the philosophical tenets of yoga with breathing techniques, physical movement, health assessments, and her knowledge of allopathic medicine gained from a twenty-year career as a Registered Nurse. Her personalized approach to yoga therapy provides goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices for individuals or small groups.

“My primary goal as a therapist is to build a solid therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, validated, and heard. I am curious to learn your strengths and cultural diversities and collaboratively create therapy goals based on exploring and reflecting on your lived experience. I am empathic and compassionate and have faced the reality of life’s ups and downs, which allows me to provide an accepting, non-judgemental space where all emotions, tears, and humour are honoured. Together we will create an equitable partnership and explore your presenting concerns that cause emotional distress. I am privileged to accompany you on your journey into authentic self-healing.”
