Acknowledgement of Risks

I acknowledge and fully understand that participation in the Rise Wellness Festival event may involve risks including, but not limited to, physical injury, emotional distress, exposure to the elements, illness, allergic reactions, insect bites and property loss or damage. I voluntarily accept and assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with my participation in the event.

Assumption of Responsibility

I agree to take full personal responsibility for my health, well being, and personal property while attending the Rise Wellness Festival. I understand that medical aid may be limited due to the rural nature of the event site and that emergency services may take longer to respond.

Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to attend the Rise Wellness Festival, I, for myself and any minors or guests accompanying me, hereby release, waive, and discharge the Rise Wellness Foundation, its founders, directors, team members, volunteers, contractors, landowners, affiliates, and event partners from any and all liability for injury, loss, illness, or damage to persons or property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Rise Wellness Foundation and associated persons from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from my actions, omissions, or participation in the event.

Media Consent & Release

I hereby grant permission to Rise Wellness Foundation to capture, use, and publish photographs, video, and audio recordings taken of me at the festival. These materials may be used for promotional, educational, archival, and commercial purposes in perpetuity, in any format or medium, without compensation. I waive all rights to inspect or approve the final use of any media.

Health & Safety Compliance

I agree to respect and follow the festival’s code of conduct, all posted guidelines, and any verbal instructions from event organizers, including those regarding safety, wellness, consent, and environmental care.

Acknowledgement & Binding Agreement

I understand that this document is legally binding. My electronic or handwritten signature below confirms that I have read and understood this Liability Waiver and Media Release Agreement in full. I acknowledge that it is enforceable without a signature from a Rise Wellness Foundation representative.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any legal dispute shall be handled within that jurisdiction.

Severability Clause

If any provision of this agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

This agreement represents the full and final understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior verbal or written communications related to liability or media use.
