What To Expect
Yoga & Meditation
Immerse yourself in morning yoga, chanting, Tantra, meditation, breathwork, Kirtan, and so much more. We have an amazing team of facilitators coming from across BC and Alberta to teach at this year’s festival.

Workshops & Ceremonies
Explore your creativity and connect with others through our wide diversity of workshops. Whether you’re interested in authentic movement or sound healing, our roster is filled with informative and engaging options to choose from.
Previous workshops include Despacho Ceremony, Self Love Workshop, Ecstatic Dance, Singing Circles, Poi Workshop, Zumba for Kids, Active Mediation, Sound Healing, Reiki & Tea, Brain & Subconscious Mind, Fear & Surrender Workshop, Women’s Sexual Health.
This year we are continuing with the theme of honouring each of the elements with a daily ceremony. Thursday we will honour the earth, Friday we will honour the water, Saturday we will honour the fire, and Sunday we will honour the air. And all weekend long we will celebrate spirit!
3 Stages with Music
There will be 2 main stages with live DJ sets and musical performances: Main Stage & Beach Stage. These stages will host a variety of workshops during the day and offer a Dj’ed dance party at night. This year beach stage will host a beach dance party on Saturday afternoon. Music will go through to 1am most nights and there will be a beautiful sound bath at main stage each night to help us to unwind and integrate all you are experiencing at Rise.
Mystic Lounge is our third stage/workshop space- a place for more intimate and cozy workshops during the daytime and then it turns into a Kizomba dance space every evening with Kizomba dance workshops and Kizomba dance socials where you can practice what you learned. We bring Mystic Lounge to the local burning man festival, called What If in Merritt.
Rise Spa & Wellness Centre
Rise Spa & Wellness Centre is one of the festival’s prime wellness spots located right along the river. The Spa provides wellness and healing sessions like Massage, Bowen therapy, CranioSacral, Thai Massage, Reiki, etc. We have a beautiful team of practitioners coming this year.
